The department of Physics under Physics Forum, organized a visit to the Pilikula Regional Science Center and Swami Vivekananda Planetarium on 25th August 2018.
65 students from the 3 batches of B.Sc., 2 alumni, staff of physics department along wit the Dean of Sciences left from campus, for Pilikula, at 10am. The group was received by the Director of the Center upon arrival.
The Director interacted with our students about the need for basic sciences and a science center for the students which would lead to advancements in science and technology, thereby helping society.
The students interacted with the various experiments and demonstrations at the facility. Some students were also enthusiastic enough to explain some of the physics concepts to the public present there.
