On 28th July 2018 Swaccha Gelathi programme has been inaugurated in different schools in and around Surathkal.
The Swaccha Gelathi programme was introduced by our district commissioner for maintenance of health and hygiene of girls during the time of menstruation cycle for the class of 6th std to 10th std.
On 2nd and 4th Saturday’s of every month, girl volunteers visit the different schools to teach girl children about maintenance of hygiene during menstruation cycle.
