About 150 students of our college comprising BA, BSc, MSc and MCom were enlightened about the ill effects of non recyclable plastics. They were encouraged to make use of items derived from natural resources by Mr Jayaprakash Nayak, Senior scientific officer, KSPCB, Mangalore. It was graced by Mr Prabhakar Rao, Director-Works, MCF Ltd. The program was presided over by Principal Dr K Shivashankar Bhat with the comperer being Dr Sharatha Kumar, HOD PG Chemistry.
