Entrepreneurship Development Cell had organised a workshop on Saree Tasseling on 27.2.2020 at 2.30 p.m by Mrs.Nagaveni at Assembly hall.
Ms.Sharanya of 3rd BA welcomed the guest and Resource Person Mrs.Nagaveni and her 3 assistants, who had come to assist her.
Dr. K Shivashankar Bhat, Principal, GDC, Surathkal addressed the gathering through his Presidential remarks. He viewed that students should develop these skills which help in earning revenue and also students should utilise the opportunities provided by the association. Ms.Manjula of I BA proposed the Vote of Thanks and the platform was open to Mrs.Nagaveni, the resource person of the workshop.
Around 30 students from BA, B.Sc and B.Com had participated in the same . Tasseling materials were provided to students. The workshop was extended to 29.2.2020.
Students were very happy learning a new skill and need to practice at home during their leisure time to become perfect in tasseling.
