The registered office of the Govinda Dasa College Alumni Association was inaugurated in the Govinda Dasa College campus at 10 AM on 20 May 2020 by Sri M Venkat Rao, Secretary, H V Sangha, Surathkal.
In his inaugural address he said that the contribution of the alumni of our college towards the holistic growth of their alma mater is immense. We need to have a long term vision. GDC shall be celebrating its Diamond Jubilee in the year 2027 and we need to draw up a road map to meet the aspirations of all of us by then, he added. The college prospectus 2020-21 was released by the IQAC in the this context.
Mr Ramesh Rao, president, GDC Alumni Assn welcomed the guests. Prof. P Krishna Murthy, the Principal GDC proposed the vote of thanks. Prof, Ramesh Kulai, Dir. Adm, GDC, Prof K Rajmohan Rao , retired principal GDC and advisor, GDC Alumni Assn, Mr Guruprasad K, Secretary, GDC Alumni Assn, Mrs Sai Geetha, the vice President, Joint Secretary and the President , GDC PTA Mr Leeladhar Shetty, Executive Committee members Mr Bhuvanabhirama Udupa, Mr Venugopal Shenoy, Mr Vinod Shetty, The vice principal GDC Prof. Ramesh Bhat, IQAC Co-Ordinators Prof. Harish Acharya and Prof. Neelappa, the Deans; Ganesh Acharya, Mrs Geetha, Prof.BY Kumar, Staff Secretary Prof. Marcel Louis, Placement Officer Prof. Vaman Kamath and all the teaching and non- teaching staff were present on the occasion.
