DAY -1
The Faculty Development Programme(FDP) on “ENGAGING MINDS and EMPOWERING SUCCESS in MODERN RESEARCH ERA” inaugurated by Dr P.S.Yadapadithaya, honourable Vice -Chancellor of Mangalore University. Mr. M. Venkat Rao presided over the programme and Mr. Janardhan. E. chaired the inaugural programme.
On the opening day there were two sessions :
Session 1
“Making Sense of literature reviews ” presented by prof. Amitabh Anand ,Professor in Management SKEMA Business School University Cote D’Azur, FRANCE .
Session 2
was presented by Dr. Vidyashree D V ,Assistant Professor ,PG Department of Commerce St.Claret College,Bangalore On “Research Article Writing And Descriptive Data Analysis using SPSS”.
DAY 2
On the second day there were two sessions conducted by Dr. D.Kumaresan,Principal ,Laxminarayana Arts and Science College for women, Dharmapuri ,on “Data Analytics using SPSS Parametric And Non Parametric Tests”
Day 3
On the Closing day there was a session on” How to write and publish papers in scientific journals ” by Dr. Ananda S, Director Post -Graduate Studies and Research ,college of banking and Financial Studies ,Muscat,Sultanate of Oman.
For the valedictory Programme, Dr. Muralidhara Mairpady, Head HR – Toyota Boshoku Automative India,Bangalore was Chief Guest and Prof. Ramesh Kulai ,Director Administration was the Guest Of honor. Principal prof. P.Krishnamoorthy presided over the function .
In this 3 day International Faculty Development Programme 1040 participants from India and abroad have taken part and benefited .
This programme was jointly organized by IQAC and Department of Post Graduate studies and Research in Commerce ,GDC Surathkal .
