The Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has formed the Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell (RDCL) which is progressive and motivating.
The Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell, in association with GDC ED cell, conducted an online workshop for motivating and promoting Rural Entrepreneurship through preparation of ‘BUSINESSPLAN’ for GDC Final year B.Com students on 9th October 2020 at 11. A.m through Google meet.
Dr. Narayan Kayarkatte is an Academician and Management Consultant who held various responsibilities in various reputed Educational Institutions and currently he is working as the State Coordinator in MGNCRE was the resource person of the programme.
The areas of knowledge sharing included aspects like encouraging Rural Entrepreneurship, preparation of Business plan, interaction and experience sharing of a Farmer Producer Organisation ( FPO/ Local Khadi and Village Industry / local business/ Cottage Industry) near our institution.
There will be Regional Level & National Level Competitions for coming out with ‘BEST BUSINESS PLAN’ for students, which will be orgainsed by the Ministry of Education , Government of India in near future. He motivated students to participate for the same through preliminary round of the competition.
It was an interactive programme , where students learnt new and creative ways of business plans. Ms. Bindya of 3rd B.Com ‘B’ Mastered the Ceremony & Ms. Bhaghyashree proposed the Vote of Thanks.
