On the occasion of National Science Day 2021, PG Department of Chemistry has organized a special talk on Earth from Space. It was presided over by Sri E Janardhan, president HV Sangha Surathkal and former senior scientist, ISRO. Resource person was Prof. H Gangadhar Bhat, former chairman, Marine Geology and Co-ordinator Geo-informatics, Mangalore University. The speaker enlightened the PU students of GDC about the scope of Geology and urged them to take up BSc in Geology The program was also attended by Prof Ramesh Kulai, Prof Y V Venkat Rao, Dr Sharath Kumar, Dr Karthik JS , Principal Prof Krishnamurthy. MSc students too attended the event. Totally 250 participants attended the national Science day 2021.
