Arivina Yana-2021

Govinda Dasa College, in collaboration with the IQAC, the Mangalore University Hindi Teachers’ Association ‘Vihasa’, and the Mangalore University Degree College Kannada Teachers’ Association ‘Vikasa’, organized an online series of lectures titled ‘Arivina Yana’ on 11 June 2021. The Vice-Chancellor of Mangalore University Dr. P. S. Yadapaditthaya delivered the first lecture of this series on the topic ‘Higher Education in the Present Scenario’.
Addressing the webinar he said that the transformation is a law of nature, hence, it is necessary to accept the present crisis and plan according to the need of the hour.
The admission to the first year degree classes has already begun and in midst of which the remaining exams should also be conducted with proper planning parallelly with the ongoing online classes, he added.
Dr. Yadapaditthaya also mentioned about the laurels the Mangalore University received at the international level for visionary leadership, rapid response and academic conviction.
Finally, Dr. Yadapaditthaya motivated the faculty members with his message to transform the challenges into opportunities so as to brighten the future of student fraternity.
The Principal of Govinda Dasa College and President of the Mangalore University Degree College Kannada Teachers’ Association ‘Vikasa’ Prof. P. Krishnamurthy welcomed the participants. The President of the Mangalore University Hindi Teachers’ Association Dr. S. A. Manjunath made introductory remarks. The Secretary of Mangalore University Degree College Kannada Teachers’ Association ‘Vikasa’ Dr. Yogeesha Kairodi rendered the vote of thanks.
The Secretary of Hindu Vidyadayini Sangha Sriranga Hosabettu, Administrative Director of Govinda Dasa College Prof. Ramesh Kulai, IQAC coordinators Prof. Hareesh Acharya and Prof. Neelappa V., the President of Mangalore University Private College Principals’ Association Dr. Narayana Shetty, the President of ‘Amukta’ Dr. Joseph and many others were present during the session.
