On 22nd & 23rd January, 2022 Sheni Samsmarana programme was organised by Sheni Gopalakrishna Bhat, Charitable Trust in association Kalaabdhi , Govinda dasa college surathkal and Karnataka Yakhagana Academy , Bangalore in Rangamandira of Govinda Dasa College. Shri Harikrishna Punarur inaugurated the programme . Shriranga Secretary H.V.Sanga ®, Surathkal was the chief guest. The inaugural function was followed by Harikatha by Shri.Deviki thanaya Kudlu.
On 23rd January a workshop was conducted on Yakshagana and there were 8 resource persons had shared their knowledge. A quiz competition & Yakshagana Mukkavarnike (Face painting) competition was orgainsed for PU & Degree students of South Canara district. Around 150 students had participated in these competitions.
Shri Kumble Sundara Rao was awarded with Sheni Prashasthi 2021. The closing ceremony ended with Yakshagana programme ‘Sudhanva Mooksha’ , in which our students also got an opportunity to participate.
