On 02-03-2022, the Department of Commerce and Business Administration in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell had officially inaugurated the association for the academic year 2020-21. The inauguration was followed by talk on Indian Accounting Standard and Convergence to IFRS. The Inaugurator and Resource Person CMA Ramsankar Mishra , Manager in Finance Dept., MRPL officially inaugurated and lead the programme by his talk to the students on accounting standards at 2.00PM in the Audio-Visual Hall. The talk really had a very good impact on students and the lecturers on the application of accounting standards in the practical era.
The programme was coordinated by the Department as a whole. Lead by the team of HOD of Commerce Ms. Shridevi and Ms. Punitha R HOD of BBA was graciously present. The association Co-Ordinator along with students coordinator lead the programme. master of ceremony was done by Ms. Pratheeksha of final year B.Com, Vote of thanks was presented by Ms.. Gayathri of Second year BBA.
In the programme the achievers of the departments were also facilitated by offering a token of gratitude. 4 Students have cleared their CA Foundation course which added up the wings for the department and even the lecturer, Pratheeksha was also awarded with state level Best NSS Officer.
The beneficiary of the programme was final year B.Com Students, Second year BBA Students, and Second year M.com students.
