Government of Karnataka organized a workshop on “Be an Entrepreneur – Become an Employer” to create awareness among young professionals and graduate students on advantages of becoming a self-reliant entrepreneurs and contribute to the economy instead of seeking employment.
Karnataka Government has introduced multiple sector specific policies, self-employment schemes, and infrastructural development program to encourage entrepreneurship in the state. The workshop provided an opportunity to educate youngsters on the various initiatives that the state is planning to offer , in order to provide motivation to budding entrepreneurs. The workshop included talks from industry experts and representatives from successful start-ups.
The programme was held on 12th May 2022 in TMA Pai International Convention Centre, M G Road, Kodialbail, Mangaluru. Few of our 1st & 2nd year BBA students participated in the same and also got an opportunity to attend sessions by industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs who encouraged students/aspiring entrepreneur to opt self-employment
