World population day is of great significance as the day is observed annually to highlight the problem of increasing population. It sheds light on the fact that the rapid rise of population impacts various aspects of the resources that human being needs to survive. Department of Economics of the college in association with Humanities association and IQAC celebrated, ” World population Day ” on 11/07/2022 in the college . Mr. Sajan Acharya, placement officer of the college was the resource person of the day. Dr. Muralidhar Rao (Ex -Principal ) Prof. Ramesh Kulai (Director-Administration ) ,Prof. Krishna Murthy (Principal),Prof. Ramesh Bhat (vice principal),Prof .Hareesh Acharya (H.O.D Dept. of Economics ) ,Mrs. Daya Suvarna ( Dept. of Economics ) and Dr. Vijayalakshmi ( Dept. of History ) graced the occasion.
