Department of post graduate studies and research in commerce has organised a Decennial Celebration on 22/08/2022 . Prof. parameshwara chairman , Department of commerce ,Mangalore university was the chief of this decennial celebration. We had Mr. E . Janardhana -President of H.V.Sanga , Mr. Shriranga .H. – Secretary of H.V. Sangha , Prof. Ramesh Kulai – Director Administration of GDC , Dr. Suresh Ramana Mayya -former co-ordinator , Dr. Heribert Nazareth- former co-ordinator of PG Department as a Guests of Honor. It was presided over by Prof. P. Krishnamoorthy -Principal , GDC .
The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries .Mr. Sajan M. Acharya, HOD PG Department of commerce welcomed the Dignitaries. This was followed by a introductory remarks by Mr. Sajan .
On this ocassion PG Department of commerce ,felicitated the former directors of Pg Department Prof. Ramesh Kulai , Dr. Heribert Nazareth , Dr. Suresh Ramana Mayya and also the rank holders .
On the eve of decennial celebration PG Department of Commerce conducted various competitions to PG students like sports day , cooking without fire etc..
Ms. Bharathi rendered a vote of thanks to all the dignitaries ,alumni,and all the guests. Ms. shwetha V pejathaya of final M.Com. compered the programme.
Total of 11 students from final M.Com. and 26 from previous M.Com. were present.
