Composting through Hermi Pot is an easy,simple and eco-friendly way of converting Kitchen waste into organic manure. In this drive of Zero waste Govinda Dasa college started this eco friendly waste management Hermi compost. The kitchen waste from the college canteen is converted into compost.
On the 2nd of October 2022 Gandhi Jayanthi the Hermi compost unit maintenance was handed over to NSS Units. On this occasion Principal of the College Prof P Krishnamoorty and NSS Officer Akshatha V and NSS volunteers were present.
