Praaviny 2k22 – A pathway to excellence , an inter-collegiate Pre-University Cultural Competition was organized by Kalaabdhi , in association with Finearts association , Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal on 15.12.2022 at 9.30. am. The inaugural Ceremony was held at Rangamandira. Sri.Shreeranga H , Secretary , H V Sangha ® , Surathkal & Prof. Ramesh Kulai , Director –administrator , GDC, Surathkal were the chief guests of the programme. Prof.P. Krishnamoorty, Principal , GDC ,Surathkal was the president of the programme.
This was for the first time that Praavinya was conducted offline . Nearby 13 colleges had participated in the competitions . Competitions such as Variety , Mehendi, debate, rangoli & painting were a part of Praavinya.
The valedictory and prize distribution was held on the same day at 3.30 p.m Sri.H . Jayachandra Hathwar, President, H.V Sangha®, Surathkal was the Chief guest. Prof. Ramesh Kulai , Director –administrator , GDC, Surathkal was the Guest of honour ; Ms. Pooja , Proud Alumni , Currently working as the faculty in Swastika College, Mangalore was the Toast Master of the Ceremony and Prof.P. Krishnamoorty, Principal , GDC ,Surathkal was the president of the programme.
Govinda Dasa Pre-university emerged as the overall winners of Praavinya – 2022.
Prof.Ramesh Bhat S G , Vice –Principal, SWO & Kalaabdhi Co-ordinator , Mrs. Deepa shetty , Dr.Vijayalaxmi & Ms. Punitha R Co-ordinators of finearts and Mr. Vinod Shetty Krishnapura – Kalaabdhi Instructor were incharge of Praavinya.
