What next? “Be an Entrepreneur” was organized by the Rotary Club of Baikampady, under the district Entrepreneurship Development Project, Zone 1, 2, 3, 4 R.I.Dist.3181 in association with VIRAT and, Entreprenuership Development Cell, Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal on 24th March 2023 at 10.00 am in Audio-Visual Hall, GDC
The Main agenda behind the Workshop “What next? Be an Entrepreneur” was to enlighten the final year students of B.Com, BBA and BCA to enhance the knowledge on entrepreneur and entrepreneurship.
Sri. M.G. Ramachandra, Joint Secretary, H.V. Sangha (R.) ; Prof. P. Krishnamoorthy, Principal, Govinda Dasa College; Rtn PHF Ashok N, President, Rotary Club, Baikampady ; Rtn Harish B. Shetty, Secretary, Rotary club, Baikampady; Sri. Vishwaraj I, Secretary, VIRAT and Prof. Ramesh Kulai, Director- Administration , Govinda Dasa College were the guests of the programme.
Rtn PHF Raj Gopal Rai, Assistant Governor – Zone 2, R.I. Dist.3181 was the inaugurator of the programme .
The programme was Presided by Rtn Gangadhar K, Vice Chairman, Entrepreneurship Development, R.I. Dist. 3181 . Rtn PHF Ashok N, had Mastered the Ceremony and introduced the Guests. Prayer was rendered by the students of Final year students Sneha and Sushmitha.
The first session was by Rtn Geethananda Pai and the session was started at 10.30 am. In his talk sir described about the Statutory obligations: Do’s and Don’ts in the field of the business and entrepreneurship. Sir has given many inputs on the entrepreneurship to the student entrepreneurs of the college.
The next session was by Rtn CA Prasanna Shenoy and the session was started at 11.20am. Sir spoke on the topic ‘Start up’ and gave information how the students can take up the ‘Start up’ as a job opportunity after their education.
The last session was by Sri. Mridu Pallov Borah and the session was started at 12.10 pm. Sir spoke about the bank Loan, Government Schemes and benefits of these loans and schemes. Sir has also informed about Canara Bank Loan schemes and government schemes through the bank to the entrepreneurs to start the business or startups.
Dr. Bhagyalaxmi M proposed the Vote of Thanks.
