Consumer forum and Mahila Vedike the two powerful forces was inaugurated on 25th September 2023
Consumer Forum is a platform to inculcate among the students an awareness of the rights and interest of consumers, ensuring fair business practices and protecting consumers from unscrupulous practice. On the other hand, Mahila Vedike is to make a strong pitch for advocating gender equality, women’s empowerment and the eradication of discrimination and violence against Women. It aims to transcend boundaries and seeks to create an inclusive society, where every women can thrive, unburdened by stereotypes and prejudices.
These two forums are established to send a powerful message . The power of the consumer and the strength of women. The Inaugurator and guest of honour was Sri B.P Dinesh Kumar. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime & Traffic) Mangaluru City. Principal of the college Prof Krishnamoorthy P, presided over the function. Staff Co-ordinators of Mahila Vedike and Consumer Forum Ms Shreedevi and Mrs Daya Suvarna were present. Student coordinator of Mahila Vedike Ms Pallavi of Third Bcom was the master of Cermony. Ms Poorvi of Final BBA introduced the guest and Shreya Bhat Coordinator of Consumer Forum Proposed the Vote of thanks, Rakshitha coordinator of Consumer Forum of First B.com was also present.
