Mahila Vedike, Consumer Forum and IQAC Govinda Dasa College in association with Inner Wheel Club Surathkal organized a a Workshop on Self Defense Skills on October 30th,2023 at the A.V Hall. The Workshop was conducted by “Karthik-Swaraksha for women- A Mom and Son Unique Workshop, The Resource person Karthik S Kateel trained 100 girl students in self Defense along with his mother Mrs Shobhalatha Suresh. Prof P Krishnamoorthi, Principal presided over the function, president of Inner wheel Surathkal Mrs Savithri Bhat spoke on the relevance of self defense for girl students. Director of the College Prof Ramesh Kulai, members of the Inner Wheel club were present, The master of the ceremony was Poorvi Ashok of third BBA, Shreya Bhat, First BCA introduced the Resource Person and Riya of Third BBA welcomed the gathering.
