Mahila Vedike ( Womens Forum)

Mahila Vedike was established in 1970s by Prof.Leelavathi Rao. It is the oldest vedike formed with the intention of empowering the girl students of the college and providing them a platform to develop their personality. All the girl students of the college are its members.

Objective:

  • Empower the female students
  • Personality development
  • Awareness of their rights
  • Counselling

Nature of programmes:

  1. Guest lectures, Seminars, Workshops, Legal awareness programme, Helath awareness programmes.
  2. Conducting of various competitions: Rangoli, Cooking without Fire, Flower Arrangement,Jewellery making, best out of waste.
