National Youth Day is observed to honour the ideals and thoughts of Swamiji Vivekananda who had tremendous faith in youth, Social reformer great thinker and philosopher. Vivekananda always highlighted the role of youth in the process of nation-building and inspired them to have a confident attitude.
Swami Vivekananda’s ananda 160th birth anniversary was celebrated on the occasion of National Youth Day at Govinda Dasa College Surathkal. On the part of National Youth day we arranged the book exhibition of Swami Vivekananda.It was inaugurated by Prof. Ramesh Kulai, Director Administration and suggested to read and adopt Swami Vivekananda Principles. Principal Prof. Krishnamurthy.P was the president and spoke about Swami Vivekananda. I BA Students Manish Shetty, Shama Farhana, and Karnataka Polytechnic Lecturer Smt. Prashantha B.P spoke about Swami Vivekananda. Prof. Marcel Louis Mascharens, Smitha, Physical Director Prabhakar, Shekar Devadiga were present.
