Indian Red cross society organized an internship duty for the volunteers of Youth red cross unit of Govinda Dasa College Surathkal, . 15 volunteers participated in internship duty which was held from 10-02-2025 to 15-02-2025 at Wenlock hospital Mangalore
Volunteers were assigned the duty in the various departments of the hospital like token department, patient registrations insurance department Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust, ayushman bharath yojana, ortho department etc.
Volunteers had hands on experiences in various department and were trained with lively sessions by various senior doctors and surgeons of the hospital.They also visited the blood bank of the hospital and learnt about blood donation and its importance.
Volunteers were assisted by Mr. Safzan Indian RED cross camp guide, Programme officer Kittu K. Ramakunja.
