Department of post-graduate Studies in Commerce and Chemistry, in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Career Development & Placement Cell organised a workshop on employability skills on 25/10/2024. The workshop was sponsored by the Vidyadayinee Institute of Rural Development and Agricultural Training(VIRAT), Surathkal. Mr. Prajwal C0-Founder UPSKIL, Mangalore was the resource person. The primary goal of the workshop was to guide students in creating impactful resumes that showcase their academic achievements, skills, and experiences effectively. This session aimed to bridge the gap between students’ academic accomplishments and employers’ expectations by offering practical insights and techniques on resume building. Students were trained on tailoring their resumes according to the job descriptions and roles they are applying for. This session was particularly fruitful for the final-year M.Com. and M.Sc. students, who are on the verge of entering the job market.
