The Founder President of Sri Kuthethuru Govinda Dasa Charitable Trust Foundation Sri. K. Govinda Dasa contributed his enormous collection of books written by Prof. K. S. Narayanacharya, to the college library, on 14th December 2020.
Addressing the gathering at the Books Donation Programme, Sri. K. Govinda dasa said that reading spiritual and thoughtful books would fill us with positive energy, hence. students should attempt to read the books he donated so as to better their future and obtain human values.

Sri Kuthethuru Govinda Dasa Charitable Trust Secretary, Dr. Raj Mohan, Alumni Association President Sri. Ramesh Rao, Secretary of Hindu Vidhyadhayinee Sangha Sri. Venkatrao, College Administrative Director Prof. Ramesh Kulai, Vice Principal Prof. Ramesh Bhat, IQAC Co-ordinators Prof. Neelappa.V, and Prof. Harish Acharya, Language Department Dean Prof. Marcel Louis Mascarenhas and the Librarian Savithri. A. were present on the stage.
Principal Prof. P Krishnamurthy presided over the programme and addressed the gathering.
Following this, there was a three minutes condolence for the demised soul of Dr. Bannanje Govindacharya, Sanskrit scholar and eminent speaker who passed away at his residence in Ambalpady, Udupi on 13th December 2020. He was a propagator of ‘Madhwa’ philosophy and a great orator. Govindacharya had been conferred with the Padma Shree Award in 2009. He was well-versed in Veda Bhashya, Upanishad Bhashya, Mahabharata, Ramayana and Puranas and wrote commentaries on Veda Suktas, Upanishads, Shata Rudriya, Brahma Sutra Bhashya, and Gita Bhashya.
The Librarian Savithri A. welcomed the gathering, the Language Department Dean, Prof. Marcel Louis Mascarenhas proposed the vote of thanks. the Library staff Chandreshekar K. mastered the ceremony.
