The college bid adieu to Sri Surendra Kumar, Administrative staff, on his retirement on 31/05/2021 after rendering 42 years of fruitful service at GDC. On this special occasion Sir Surendra Kumar planted saplings on the college premise. Addressing the gathering he shared the experiences he had during his service. Adding, he stressed upon working with conviction and loyalty for the betterment of the institution. The Chief Guest Mr.Ramesh T. N., Joint Secretary of Hindu Vidyadayini Sangha, The Administrative Director Prof. Ramesh Kulai and the Vice-Principal Prof.Ramesh Bhat felicitated Sri Surendra Kumar. The Principal Prof. Krishnamurthy presided over the function. An amount of ₹ 25000 was donated to Hindu Vidyadayini Sangha by Surendra Kumar on this occasion.
Mr.Sathish Bhat welcomed the gathering and Ashwini rendered the vote of thanks.
The convener of IQAC Prof. Hareesh Acharya, Prof. Vaman Kamath, Head of the BCA Department Mrs.Geetha, NCC Officer Capt.Sudha Shetty, Administrative Staff Shreepathi, Basava, Sonia, Shamitha, Chandrashekhar, Raghuram, Shailraj, Ashwini and others were present during the programme.
On his retirement, on behalf of Staff Association GDC, we wish Sri Surendra Kumar a happy, peaceful and well contented retired life. It’s time to follow the dreams and passions long set aside and enjoy the rewards of work done well. May his retirement open the door to long-anticipated plans and aspirations.
