Department of Post Graduate studies in Commerce has organised a guest lecture on the topic “Alternative Dispute Resolution” on 21/02/2023 to the students of M.Com of GDC . Ms. Jayashree M. Rattihalli , Legal Consultant ,Advocate Arbitrator & Mediator Founder Associate at Prolegis Associates, Mangalore was the resource of the day. She spoke on the difference b/w misunderstanding ,conflict and dispute . She explained on Alternative method of solving the disputes in the commercial business matters i.e. resolving the disputes through online and how it is different from the traditional way of resolving the dispute through litigation. Ms. Sushmitha of second M.Com compered the programme and Shilpa Shetty ,2 nd year M.Com student presented a vote of thanks. Totally 62 M.Com students benefited from this session.
