On the occasion of 131st Birth Anniversary of Padmashree Dr S.R. Ranganathan Father of Library Science, India. Govinda Dasa College Library and IQAC jointly organized Librarian’s day on 12th August 2023. Dr .Indira Heggade, President of S.R Hedge Charitable Trust, inaugurated the programme and book exhibition as a chief guest and she also donated books to the library. Prof. P Krishnamurthy, the principal in his presidential address said that student community should read the books to improve vocabulary, mental ability and communication skills.
Govinda dasa college aluminum Association president M. Ramesh Rao, Teacher-Parent Association president Harish K grace the occasion as a guest of honors. Library retried staff Chandrasekhar, Office superintendent Venkappa Moolya, Suman and Nithesh were present.
