National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ektha Diwas is celebrated every year on 31st October since 2014 to mark the birth anniversary of Iron Man of India–Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, this year marks the 148th birth anniversary of the freedom fighter and politician. Sardar Patel played a major role in the integration of India (Ek Bharat) from over 560 princely states. To acknowledge his efforts in uniting the nation, India celebrates National Unity Day on his birth anniversary.
College Library and department of language organized the National Unity day on 31.10.2023. On this occasion President of H V Sangha, Sri Jayachandra Hathwar H, Secretary of H.V Sangha Sri Shreeranga H, Director-Administration Prof. Ramesh Kulai, Principal Prof. P. Krishnamoorthy, Vice Principal Prof. Ramesh Bhat S .G, Librarian Dr. Sujatha. B, teaching staff, administrative staff and students honored the great leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by “PUSHPA NAMANA”. Smt. Akshatha Shetty Lecturer Dept. of Kannada hosted the programme.
