The Department of P.G. Studies in chemistry, Govinda Dasa college organized second “Vishwanath P. Shetty Endowment Lecture” on “Electrochemical Workstations: Revolutionizing Scientific Exploration across Disciplines” by Dr.Sudhakar Y.N on 25th June 2024 at Audio Visual Hall , Govinda dasa college at 10 am.
The programme began with a prayer song by Mrs. Shobhitha Hegde, faculty of M.Sc Chemistry department. Dr. Karthik J.S, Head, Department of P.G. Studies in chemistry, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of ‘Vishwanth P. Shetty Endowment lecture’.
Ms.Nireeksha P., Lecturer, introduced the speaker. Then Dr. Sudhakar Y.N delivered endowment lecture. He highlighted the importance of chemistry in various fields. The endowment program was graced by Prof. Gopal M. Gokhale, Director-Administration, Govinda dasa college and Prof. Krishnamoorthy P., Principal, Govinda dasa college. Prof. Krishnamoorthy presented Dr.Sudhakar with momento. Prof. Krishnamoorthy delivered the presidential remark and appreciated the contribution of Vishwanatha P. Shetty to the field of education.
Ms. Caroline Venissa Pinto, Lecturer, delivered vote of thanks. The master of ceremony was Ms.Sanjana Rao, student of second year M.Sc chemistry. The faculties and students of P.G. department of chemistry attended the lecture and found it very informative and helpful.
