The State Level NSS Youth Festival – 2023 was organized by the NSS Cell, Department of Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of NSS Bengaluru and Raichur University. The event took place at Raichur University from October 3rd to 7th October, 2023.
Ms. Smitha from II BA participated in the festival, representing Mangalore University alongside other NSS volunteers from various colleges under Mangalore University. The team excelled in various competitions, securing first place in Vastu Pradarshana, second place in the Cultural Procession, and third place in the Skit Competition.
Renowned speakers and youth icons were invited to share their views, experiences, and interact with a selected group of NSS volunteers from across the state. This programme provided volunteers with the opportunity to engage with inspiring individuals, gaining significant motivation and benefits from the interactions.
The State Level NSS Youth Festival – 2023-24 was organized by the National Service Scheme Cell, Department of Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with the University of Mysore. The event took place at NSS Bhavan, Mysuru from October 20th to 24th February, 2024.
Bhuvan from II BCA, GDC, participated in the youth festival, representing Mangalore University along with other NSS volunteers from various colleges under Mangalore University. The team excelled in multiple competitions, securing first place in Cultural Procession, Skit, Exhibition, and Group Folk Song. Bhuvan also won second place in the Solo Folk Song category.
