NCC Wing of Govinda Dasa college celebrated World anti-tobacco day on 24 /08/2024. Principal of the college Prof .Krishnamoorthy P inaugurated the program.Mr. Pundalika Lakati (District consultant DTCC, Dakshina Kannada) and Mrs. Shruthi ( social worker ,DTCC, Dakshina Kannada ) were the resource persons . Both the resource persons enlightened the young generation on the concept ,what are all the adverse impact of consuming tobacco and reminded them their responsibility to create awareness in society.30 NCC cadets participated in the program .Prof .Hareesh Acharya (IQAC coordinator) graced the occasion . Capt.Dr.Sudha Shetty (NCC Officer) organized the program.
