The Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Students’ Senate organized a Value Education Programme titled “Science and Spirituality” for first-year degree students on 09.09.2024. Sri Nama Nishta Das, President of ISKCON Radha Govinda Temple, Kulai, as a resource person.
Sri Nama Nishta Das highlighted the strong link between science and spirituality, explaining how ancient Indian sages often expressed scientific ideas through spiritual insights. He encouraged students to blend spiritual wisdom with their academic pursuits to deepen their knowledge.
The Principal, Prof. P. Krishnamoorthy, presided over the function and urged students to embrace spiritual education as a means to enhance wisdom, concentrate in their studies, and manage stress effectively. Vice Principal Prof. Neelappa V., IQAC Coordinator Prof. Hareesha Acharya P., ASIHE Coordinator Prof. Vamana Kamath, Student Welfare Officer Dr. Sowmya Praveen K., and Staff Secretary Mrs. Geetha K. were present.
