On 24th October 2024, Govinda Dasa College’s Placement Cell hosted an orientation on ACCA and career opportunities in finance, led by Shees from MYLOGIC, with Mr. Durgaprasad and Ms. Sowparnika also in attendance. The session started with a warm welcome to the guests, followed by Shees engaging students with a discussion on the challenges faced by over 4 million graduates entering the job market each year. He emphasized the advantages of professional qualifications like ACCA, CA, CPA, and CMA, comparing their requirements and job market benefits to those of general degrees. Shees also highlighted the different structures of these courses, with ACCA involving 14 exams, CA 16 exams, and CPA 4 exams, typically completed in 3-4 years. He encouraged students to consider these certifications for more lucrative and stable careers in finance. The session concluded with MYLOGIC’s mission to help students transform their careers through globally recognized certifications. The programme was organized by Commerce and Business Administration Association and Career Guidance and placement cell.
