The Department of Library and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Govinda Dasa College jointly organized a programme under the Pusthaka Preethi Parichaya Series on 25th August 2025.
As part of the program, Mr. Amaresh , student of I B.A., presented a thoughtful review of the Chomana Dudi by Dr. K Shivaram Karant. His insightful analysis captivated the audience and reflected the spirit of literary appreciation promoted by the series.
The program was graced by the presence of the Principal, Prof. Hareesha Acharya P, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of cultivating a consistent reading habit, especially among the youth. He emphasized that reading not only enhances knowledge but also nurtures critical thinking and empathy. On this programme he also presented certificate & Mementos to the students.
The program was attended by IQAC Co-coordinator Dhanyakumar Venkannavar, Librarian Dr. Sujatha B. faculty members Dr. Vijayalaxmi, Dr. Ashalatha P, Ms. Daya Suvarna, Dr Sudha, Dr. Prashanth M D,Mr. Kittu. along with and a large number of enthusiastic students.
The program commenced with a warm welcome by Ms. Koushitha, student of III B.A., who also proposed the vote of thanks.
