NSS Volunteers of Govinda Dasa College Celebrate Independence Day with Patriotism and Pride
On August 15th, the NSS volunteers of Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism.
The celebration began with a flag hoisting ceremony at the college campus, where Prof. Harish Acharya, Principal of Govinda Dasa College, addressed the gathering. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of nationhood, unity, and having deep respect for the country.
Later, the NSS volunteers actively took part in the flag hoisting ceremony at Hindu Vidyadayinee Higher Primary School Ground. Both NSS units of the college participated in a march past, proudly saluting the flag and showing their dedication to national pride and community service.
The celebration was a reminder of the role young citizens play in honouring the nation’s past and building its future.
