Library Advisory Committee Meeting (2025–26)

Minutes of the meeting of the library advisory committee 2025-26 held on Saturday, 13th December 2025 at 11.30 A.M in the library.

Dr. Sujatha B., Librarian, welcomed the members to the meeting. While discussing the agenda, the following decisions were taken:

Resolutions Passed / Decisions Taken

1. The Librarian presented the allotted library budget for the current academic year. After due discussion, the committee approved the budget.
2. The committee discussed the renewal of journals for the ensuing academic year and resolved to proceed with the renewals based on the availability of funds and academic requirements.
3. The committee deliberated on the upgradation of the Easylib Library Management Software and resolved to take necessary steps to update the software at the earliest.
4. The matter regarding N-LIST e-journals membership renewal was discussed. The committee noted that INFLIBNET has discontinued N-LIST access to aided colleges, as the Central Government is providing access to Government colleges under the ONOS (One Nation One Subscription) Scheme. Hence, the committee acknowledged that N-LIST membership renewal is not applicable at present.
