Session on Life Skills

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Value Education Club of Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal, in association with Kuthethoor Govinda Dasa Charitable Trust, organized a session on Life Skills on 25 October 2025. The session was conducted for first-year B.A. and B.C.A. students in their respective classrooms.

The session was coordinated and conducted by Dr. Santhosh Alva, Coordinator of the Value Education Club. During the session, students were introduced to various essential life skills including communication skills, time management, decision-making, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and stress management. Dr. Santhosh Alva emphasized the importance of these skills in both personal and professional life, helping students to navigate challenges effectively and develop a balanced personality.

The interactive session included practical examples, real-life scenarios, and discussions, allowing students to actively participate and reflect on their own habits and behaviors. The session aimed to enhance the overall personal development of students, empowering them to make informed decisions, improve interpersonal relationships, and cultivate a positive attitude toward life.

 

Programme Outcomes:

The session concluded successfully with active participation and positive feedback from the students, fulfilling the objectives of the Value Education Club in promoting life skills education.
