Workshop on “Flagship Scheme – Building Future India 2047”

The workshop, held under the vision of empowering youth and nation-building, brought together leaders, academicians, and youth to discuss India’s progress toward 2047.

The program began with a welcome speech by Mr. Ullas K.T., District Youth Officer, who spoke about the important role of youth in shaping India’s future through awareness and use of government flagship schemes. The event was officially opened with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony.

Key dignitaries included Mr. Shridhar (District Skill Development Officer), Mr. Pradeep D’Souza, Prof. Ganapathy (Principal, University College), Dr. Sheshappa (NSS Coordinator, Mangalore University), and Mr. Achuth (Community Leader). They inspired the youth with talks about national opportunities and the role of NSS in personal and social growth.

Mr. Rajan Mogaveer, Registrar of University College, encouraged NSS volunteers to be confident and face challenges, saying, “No work is too small when it contributes to society.”

Mrs. Satyalatha, District Skill Development Officer, explained various skill training programs offered by the government, stressing skill development as key to a self-reliant India.

Mr. Lathish shared information about financial schemes and banking benefits available to youth, guiding them toward economic empowerment.

The workshop inspired youth to recognize their strength and responsibilities, reminding them of the many opportunities to contribute to building a better India by 2047 — a vision full of hope, empowerment, and teamwork.
