As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, to be observed on October 31 in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the volunteers of the NSS units at Govinda Dasa College have undertaken a daily awareness activity. Each morning during the college prayer assembly, the volunteers read out vigilance-related slogans in Kannada, English, and Hindi. This trilingual approach ensures that the important message of vigilance, integrity, and transparency reaches all students effectively.
The daily recitation of slogans is intended to create awareness among students about the significance of ethical behavior and the role of youth in combating corruption. By engaging in this activity throughout the week, the NSS volunteers aim to instill values of honesty, accountability, and good governance. This initiative not only pays tribute to the ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who stood for unity and integrity, but also encourages students to uphold moral principles in their academic and personal lives. Through this initiative, the NSS units are playing a vital role in fostering a culture of vigilance within the campus, aligning with the national objective of building a corruption-free society.
