INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO GURUCHARAN INDUSTRIES AND BRIGHT FLEXI

The Department of Commerce and Business Administration, Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal, organised an industrial visit to Gurucharan Industries, Baikampady, and Bright Flexi, Padubidri, on 2 November 2026. The visit was attended by 64 final-year B.Com. and BBA students, accompanied by six faculty members.

The industrial visit was organised with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to industrial operations, manufacturing processes, organisational management and business activities. It offered students an opportunity to observe the practical application of concepts learned in the classroom and gain a deeper understanding of the functioning of industries.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the manufacturing processes, operational activities and management practices followed by the industries. The interaction and observation of real-world industrial operations helped students understand the various aspects of business functioning, production management and the industrial environment.

The visit served as an effective learning experience, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. It enhanced students’ understanding of industrial operations and provided valuable exposure to the corporate environment, contributing to their academic and professional development.
