‘Kalaa Bharathi’, the Cultural Association of  Shree Bharathi Degree College, Nanthoor, Mangalore organised an online Solo competition titled ‘Kalaa Sinchana 2020’ on 10 October 2020. Ms.Vaishnavi of 3rd B.Com ‘B’ participated in Bharathnatyam competition and Ms.Rashmitha of 3rd B.Com ‘B’ participated in singing competition and both of them bagged 2nd place in their respective categories.

SDM Law College, Mangalore had organised for an  Inter-Collegiate Competition Yakshagana competition on 23.02.2020 in their campus. Our Yakshagana Team had participated in the same & emerged as Overalls runners by bagging Overalls Individual 2nd Prize by Pooja U A of 3rd B.Com ‘B’ and Ms. Krithi -3rd B.Com ‘B’ won the Consolation prize.  

A J Institute of Management , Kottara Chowki, Mangalore had organised Yakshagana Competition to Graduation level students on   19.2.2020. Our yakshagana team had participated in the same . Mrs. Deepa Shetty, Mrs. Poornima , Ms.Punitha., Mr. Vinod Shetty.

GDC Fine arts team rocked at District Level Yuvajanothsava 2019-20  held at Pakshikere by securing  1st Place in One Act Play-, 1st Place in Folk Song,  2nd Place in Shastiya Sangeetha (Sampath ) and 3rd  Place in Pick & Speak (Ananya Ullal) and are selected for State Level Yuvajanothsava which will be held at Shivamoga.

Besant Evening College, Mangalore had organized Inter- Collegiate group dance Competition on 12.2.2020 and our Western Dance Team had participated for the same and bagged consolation prize.

Our Folk Dance and Folk Orchestra team being the winners at south zone level competition were selected for National Level Youth Festival organized by  Association of Indian Universities (AIU) at Amity University, Noida , Delhi from 3.2.2020 to 7.2.2020. Prof.Ramesh Bhat & Ms. Punitha.R were the Team Managers representing Mangalore University from Karnataka.
