Savithribai Phule’s 190th Birth Anniversary Celebration (20-21)

January 3rd marks the birthday of the ‘Mother of Indian Feminism’ Savitribai Phule, who is renowned as a social reformer, an educationist and a poetess. Phule, along with her husband Jyoti Rao Phule, dedicated her life to the cause of women’s rights and education. She is considered to be an important figure in the social reform movement.

Our College library Celebrated Savithribhai Phule’s 190th Jayanthi on 4th January 2021. Principal Prof. P. Krishnamurthy Presided over the program and addressed the gathering.

Famous writer Dr. Indira Heggade spoke about Savithribai Phule.

Dr. Ashalatha, Lecturer, Department of Political Science spoke about the NEP (New Educational Policy) 2020, which was a part of the same.

The Librarian Smt. Savithri welcomed the gathering, Library Staff K Chandrashekhar proposed the vote of thanks.

 PG and UG Department Lecturers, HODs, Deans  and M.Sc students  were present in the program.
