Department of Post – Graduate Studies and Research in Commerce has organized a freshers day programme on 18/02/2022.
The programme commenced with a prayer song by Shushma of 2nd M.com. The head of the PG Dept. Mr.Sajan M.Acharya made introductory remarks and explained the relevance of M.Com Programme and facilities offered in the department. Prof.Ramesh Kulai Director- Administration, GDC was the Guest of Honour spoke on this occasion and wished all success to all the students. Mr. Sriranga ,secretary – HV Sanga was the inaugurator of this programme. The Chief Guest, Mr. P.C. Mukunda Rao the yoga therapists, nemmadi – Bangalore , congratulated all the freshers and stressed upon the need of higher education in the current scenario. The Principal Prof. Krishnamoorthy presided over the programme and narrated the growth process and significant achievements of the department.
Ms.Bharathi , faculty of P.G.Department welcomed the gathering. Ms. Harsharani ,faculty member proposed the vote of thanks. Sannidhi of 2nd M.Com compered the programme .
After the formal function cultural activities were conducted.10 students of final M.Com and 28 students of previous M.Com batch participated in the Freshers’ Day Celebration.
