PTA General body meeting was held on 12/03/2022 .Mrs Manjula Vice president,PTA welcomed the gathering.Report for the year July 2020-June 2021 was presented by PTA secretary Mrs. Geetha K . Mr Ramesh Bhat, vice principal,SWO of the college presented the rules and regulation of the college to the parents and he conducted the election for the new office bearers for the coming year.
Mr Leeladhar president of the PTA gave the presidential speech.Treasurer, Mr Krishnamoorthy,Principal of the college upholded the achievements of the students.
The chief guest of the function Mr.Arun Kumar shetty motivated the students and parents . Mr Chandrappa inspector of Surathkal police station was the guest of honour and gave a talk about , youths facing problems and how to solve it.
Mr.Rajesh ,head constable of Surathkal police station gave a talk on effective parenting to give awareness to the parents and explained the facilities in the police station for various circumstances.
Retired teaching staff B.Y Kumar,non teaching staff Mr Surendra, Mr shripathi were felicitated. Miss Nireeksha (BSc 7th rank ),Pooja C (10th rank BCA) for the year 2019-2020 were felicitated for their achievement . Achievers Bindiya Shetty( National and State level award NSS) , Kriti V Rao (State level award NSS) , Rashmi Anchan represented Republic Day parade at Delhi were felicitated,the best NSS Officer for the year 2017-2018 Mrs Pratiksha,Lecturer Department of Commerce was felicitated. Staff members Ms.Sridevi,Mrs. Harsha Rani and student Ms Shivani were felicitated for clearing the NET exam. Mrs Shailaja H ,joint secretary propose the vote of thanks ,Ms Poornima Gokhale propose compered the event.
