2022 marks the 34th anniversary of World AIDS Day,the longest running disease awareness and prevention initiative of its kind in the history of public health. Every year, World AIDS Day focuses on a single theme. This year’s theme is “Equalize”. In commemoration of World AIDS Day, the NSS Units and Red Ribbon Club of Govinda Dasa College observed World AIDS Day on the 1st of December 2022 by paying a floral tribute to AIDS/HIV activist Late Veena Dhari.The Principal of the College Prof. Krishnamoorthy P spoke on the occassion. NSS Volunteer Hitha Umesh spoke on the misconceptions on the disease by the Society and the need to create an awareness of AIDS and Prevention. NSS Program Officer Akshatha was also present. NSS volunteer Neha D Kotian of Ist Bcom was the Anchor.
