Inauguration of Commerce and Business Administration & Entrepreneurship Development Cell was held on 06.12.2022 at 1.30 .p.m at A V Hall. Prof. Ramesh Kulai, Director Administration, GDC, Surathkal was the Chief guest and the inaugurator of the programme who inaugurated the association through lightening the lamp. On this occasion a Talk was arranged on the topic “Indian Accounting Standard and Convergence to IFRS”, by CMA Ramsankar Mishra , Senior Manager Finance Department ,MRPL, Mangalore for all Final year B com & BBA and Second Year BBA i.e., 132 students were the part of the programme.
CMA Ramsankar Mishra enlightened the students through the basic concepts , Principles , Standards and practices of Accounting , which helped students to understand the concept through real world examples.
Prof. Krishnamoorthy P, Principal , Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal was the President of the programme. Ms. Shridevi HOD of Commerce and Ms. Punitha R- HOD of Business Administration & Co-ordinator of Entrepreneurship Development Cell along with the Student co-odinators of Commerce association Ms. Lavanya –III BBA & Mr. Pranav Krishna – III B.Com ; Student Co-ordinators of ED Cell – Mr. Sagar Shetty – III BBA & Ms. Vaibhavi –III B.Com were present on the dais. Dr. Ganesh Acharya and other faculty members of the Department had been the part and parcel of the programme. Ms. Lavanya – III BBA Mastered the Ceremony.
