Udaya Bhaskar Y.V., Senior Manager (Retd) of State Bank of India and GDCAA Executive Committee Member, expressed commendation for the contributions of industrial and social service organizations to educational development.
He spoke after the distribution of scholarships by Avashya Foundation and Allcargo Logistics to the students of Surathkal Govindadasa College.
The college principal, Prof. Krishnamurthy P., presided over the event, emphasizing that students should be grateful to financial donors and actively involved in academic activities.
College Vice Principal Prof. Ramesh Bhat S.G. welcomed various guests, including Prof. Vamana Kamath, Dr. Soumya Praveen, Dr. Asha, Dr. Bhagyalakshmi, Sridevi, Kumar Madara, Dr. Prashantha MD, Dr. Sujatha, and others. A total of Rs. 1.68 lakhs in scholarships were distributed to 35 students pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
