An Anti-Drug Awareness programme was organized at Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal, in association with Karnataka State Police, Mangalore Police, Mangalore North Traffic Police Station, and Sub-Division Traffic Police, Mangalore, on 20/12/2023. The resource person of the day, ASI Kantappa, explained the significance of this awareness program in the current scenario. He mentioned the various forms of drugs prevailing in the market and advised to keep a distance from drugs. SIs SundarRaj & Anand asked the students to stay away from drugs and also to follow the traffic rules to ensure their safety and that of others. Principal, Prof. Krishnamoorthy P, rendered the Presidential remarks and appreciated the organization of such programs by the Police Department. Physical Education Director and Anti-Drug Cell Coordinator, Dr. Prashanth M.D., Mr. Karthik, Coordinator of PG Studies in Science, the staff, and students of both M.Com & M.Sc were present at the program.
