Blood donation is valuable. A healthy person can save lives in emergency situations by donating blood. Prasanna Kumar yermal, Senior Manager, HDFC Bank, Mangalore said that every citizen should realize the importance of blood donation as a symbol of humanity.
Hindu Vidyadayinee Sangha (R), Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Youth Red Cross Unit, National service scheme, NCC and Red Ribbon Clubs of Govinda Dasa college, HDFC Bank, Mangaluru, Inner Wheel Club, Surathkal, Lions Club, haleyangadi, Govinda Dasa College Alumni Association, Surathkal sponsored the blood donation camp, organized on 23/11/2024, at college campus. The principal of the college, Prof. Krishnamurthy P. said that students should voluntarily donate blood and show their sense of social duty.
President of the Lions Club , haleyangadi Arun Kumar said that blood donation is the best gift that one person can give to another person.
Praveen, Coordinator of Lady goshan Blood Bank of Iadian Red Cross Society, gave information about blood donation.President of Innerwheel Club, Suratkal, Vasanti Rao, President of Govinda Dasa College Alumni Association, Dr. Sai Geeta, Secretary Leeladhara Shetty wished good luck.

80 Students and Staff enrolled out of which 53 units of blood was collected and donated to Government Lady Goshan Hospital Mangalore.
