A Career Guidance Program titled “A Pathway After Graduation” was organized by the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal. The program aimed to provide insights and guidance to students regarding their career options post-graduation.
The event witnessed the participation of 55 students from the 3rd year B.Com and BBA programs. Notable faculty members present included: Dr. Shridevi, Head of the BBA Department ; Prof. Dhanya Kumar, Assistant Professor in the Commerce Department
The program commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. Punitha R., the Placement Officer for the U.G. Section. She set a positive tone for the event, emphasizing the importance of career planning and guidance for students.
The session featured Mr. Suresh M.S., the Director of Sarvajna IAS Academy, Pumpwell, Mangalore, as the resource person. He shared valuable insights into various career paths available after graduation, especially focusing on civil services and competitive exams. His extensive experience and knowledge provided students with a clearer understanding of the opportunities ahead
The program was presided over by Prof. Hareesha Acharya P., Principal of Govinda Dasa College, who emphasized the significance of career guidance in shaping students’ futures.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks rendered by Ms. Vishika, a student of III B.Com, expressing gratitude to the speakers, faculty, and attendees for their participation and support.
